It’s recruitment time for Washoe County’s 16 Citizen Advisory Boards (CABs). Deadline for application submittal is May 2, 2008. Applications will be kept on file for a period of one year and are available online at http://www.washoecounty.us/comdev/cab_apps.htm.
The purpose of the Citizen Advisory Boards are to facilitate communication and the sharing of ideas and concerns between local citizens and the County Commissioners. Topics include Flood Control/Protection, Land Use & Planning, Parks Recreation & Open Space, Public Safety, Traffic & Roads, Water & Sewer.
