September 30 – RTYPN Supports the 8th Annual Mt. Rose Hike

On Sunday, September 30, the RTYPN will be supporting the 8th Annual Mt. Rose Hike benefitting the Nevada Land Conservancy. The mission of the Nevada Land Conservancy is to preserve and protect the special places and open spaces of Nevada for future generations.
The hike will kick off at 8:30 a.m.at the new parking facilities at the Mt. Rose trailhead and the intersection of State Route 431. Join fellow hikers as we follow the Mt. Rose hiking trail to the peak with a 2,000 foot elevation gain. It will be a 5-mile hike, so please remember to bring and drink water while hiking.
Suggested donation for the Nevada Land Conservancy is $4 per person.
